Synopsis
Have you involved in projects that were led by experienced project leaders with proper work plans and yet encountered big challenges in developing the right solution that meets Business expectations? Inaccurate requirements elicitation & analysis consistently ranks in the top three causes of project failure. Yet many organizations in Hong Kong do not have the resources with the right tools & techniques in place to perform this critical project development function properly. This unique course is aimed at Business Representatives, Product Owners (Agile), Business Analysts, Project Managers and Team Leaders who are looking for skills beyond traditional approach in user requirements development. In this intensive workshop, your instructor will explain the concepts, principles of business analysis (planning, elicitation, analysis & evaluation) advocated in “Business Analysis for Practitioners – A Practice Guide”, a best practice published by PMI USA. Being a seasoned executive and project director with expertise in ICT Technology, Raymond understands the significance of professional project management, business analysis, technical development methods and how these competencies are increasing importance to an organization. Raymond has over 30 years of IT experience with leading edge corporations. He has held senior positions such as Managing Director, General Manager, and Principal Consultant of leading-edge technology and system integration firms in Canada, Hong Kong and China. Raymond is very passionate about the professionalism in Project Management, Agile Approach & Business Analysis. He was one of the founders of the Project Management Institute (PMI), Hong Kong Chapter in 1997 and has been serving as an Executive Committee Member of the Hong Kong Chapter from 1997-2013. He is the Past President of PMI Hong Kong Chapter. Currently, Raymond is managing his own consultancy business.
