Synopsis

Changes are unavoidable in an ever-changing market, which resulted in change of corporate strategy, organization, role & responsibility, processes and finally company’s product or service to customer.

Before customer is satisfied, staffs must be satisfied first. It is because only happy staff can make customer happy. It is always manager’s challenge to manage change “before”, “during” and “after” while keeping customer and employee satisfaction. Changes lead to different sizes of projects. Project Manager is always the People Manager to lead and influence stakeholders.

Course Objectives

Manager is smart enough to prepare a plan to manage changes. Unfortunately, every plan is just a piece of paper which requires people to implement accordingly. It’s more effective to allow stakeholders to implement their own parts based on their expertise at frontline. How good you lead people determine how good the result will be. Instructor’s Profile – Mr. Alex Sin, Vice President, PMI HK
PMP®, PMI-ACP®, ITIL/ITSM® Manager

Alex Sin is an independent consultant with more than 26 years of IT experience with expertise in Consulting, Project Management and Training. He is a certified instructor in a few areas including IT, Consulting and Management Development. Alex is well equipped with Methodology to deliver IT Consulting. He is also a practitioner of PDI, MBTI and DISC well-known consulting tools.

Alex enriched his Project Management experience from large scaled projects like Libraries, Electrical and Mechanical Services Department and Companies Registry. He recently completed a virtualization project for a local telecommunication company.

Alex is currently a VP Volunteer at Project Management Institute Hong Kong Chapter. Alex graduated from The University of Toronto with major in Computer Sciences and Mathematics.
