It would be a fantastic opportunity to interact and learn from experts from other part of the world. About the course

As a Project Manager, Business Analyst or Team Member, do you want to learn more about Agile, but don’t yet have much hands-on experience?

We invite you to join us for this workshop, where you will gain hands-on experience building a product as a member of an Agile team, as well as leading and participating in Agile ceremonies.

If you do not have formal Agile training, do not worry, we will cover the basics. If you do have formal Agile training, these workshops will help you put into practice what you have learned!

We invite all of the following participants to attend this workshop and experience the learning by practicing Agile:

  • Project Managers and Team Members interested in Agile but with little hands-on experience
  • Anyone interested in Agile ways of working and would like hands-on experience
  • Agile practitioners who would like to participate in a collaborative workshop and share their knowledge and experience

Learning Outcomes 

After attending this workshop, you will be able to:

  1. Explain the Agile lifecycle and ceremonies;
  2. Explain User Stories and how they can be used to define a product;
  3. Explain how to set up an Agile board and how it can be maintained in Jira;
  4. Create a simple digital product using Miro over multiple sprints.

Presentation and Discussion Method: 

  • This virtual workshop will be hands-on, working in teams in breakout rooms;
  • We will go into Zoom breakout rooms, so please ensure that you have INSTALLED Zoom on your computer and login via the app, not through web browser. You can download the Zoom application here: https://zoom.us/download
  • This session will also use Miro board, which you are recommended to access with Google Chrome browser;
  • Participating from a mobile device is not recommended because you might need to use a keyboard;
  • Make sure you have a stable internet connection.

About the Presenters:

Andrew Coates
