About the Topic

Corporate-wide changes always happen in organisations, namely merger, strategy shift, transition to new leadership, digital transformation, cultural change, etc. Dedicate effort to prepare and enable people to transform is instrumental to business success.
Project professionals may have expertise in certain areas say civil construction, agile project management, AI application projects. Nowadays, changes are more and more disruptive in nature. In addition to their technical specialty, project managers and project teams may have a stronger need to manage the people-side of change, namely cultural transformation, fostering innovation, co-creating the change with users and resistance management.
This seminar equips project professionals with a holistic framework and practical tools of organisational changes at people side. The participants will learn and apply established professional practices to manage and facilitate change impactfully by aligning people with business.
The seminar content is in line with globally recognised professional standards, practices, and qualification requirements in the change management profession, namely the Change Management Standard by the Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP).

About the Speaker

Mr. King Lee
CCMP, Prosci, PMP, CPHR, CPTD

King Lee has been a leader in corporate training, talent development and change management for businesses in Mainland, Hong Kong, Asia, North America and Europe with over 20 years of experience. Currently, King is a tutor in Kwantlen Polytechnic University, British Columbia, Canada.

King held key managerial position in learning and development function in Towngas, OOCL and MTR. He has served in a wide range of industries, namely banking, IT startup, education, transportation, property management, container liner and energy utility. He collaborates closely with business units and HR teams in different regions to build and reinforce corporate culture and change management initiatives to support business growth.

He played a key role in organizational changes covering merger and acquisition, digital transformation, cultural change and fostering innovation. He set up the Change Leadership Academy to consolidate his experience and professional standards into training programs in change leadership and change management.

He is a Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP), Prosci Certified Change Practitioner, Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) and Chartered Professional in Human Resource (CPHR).

King was a Pre-Conference Workshop Trainer and Conference Speaker of Global Connect 2023, the global conference of the Association for Change Management Professionals (ACMP).

He led a number of learning and change programs that won global and local HR awards. He has been a reviewer for Association for Talent Development (ATD) Excellence in Practice Awards and BEST Awards for years.

King is a graduate of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and holds a Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Information System Management. He holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Hong Kong.

Meanwhile, King is a management book author and columnist in a newspaper, sharing his insights on business, management, and talent development topics.
