Synopsis
Project Manager always struggle around time, resources and scope for a project. It’s even more stressful when a Program Manager manages multiple projects in a Project Management Office environment. However, a good company must have multiple projects running while a smart project manager always manage more than a project on hand. How nice if we can prioritize those project items and leverage resources among projects?
A successful project becomes a model which can light up subsequent projects as well. With positive thinking, running multiple projects can make the organization more successful because: a) resources can be used across teams; b) lessons learnt can be applied in other projects and c) the self-developed general practices becomes an important asset to the whole company.
The class will be in alignment to the PMBOK Sixth Edition, and covers:
- Multiple projects vs. company strategies
- Nature of multiple projects environment
- Team structure and PMO
- Risk management
- Control and monitoring
- Effective measures
Target audiences
- project manager, program manager, PMP
- Project stakeholders who need to collaborate with project team
- Non-PMP plan to pass PMP exam
