The Project Manager will oversee the end-to-end implementation and continuous enhancement of the company’s HR Information System (HRIS). This role serves as the strategic partner between HR, IT, Finance and external vendors, ensuring the HR technology roadmap aligns with overall business objectives {and delivers data-driven decision-making capability across regions}.

Responsibilities

  • Manage HRIS projects including {vendor selection, solution design, data migration, integration with payroll/finance systems, and post-go-live optimization}
  • Coordinate project activities and governance review meetings to ensure smooth implementation
  • Provide project leadership including planning, delivery, change management, supplier governance, and stakeholder reporting
  • Liaise with internal teams and vendors to ensure effective, scalable and secure system architecture
  • Compile project dashboards, risk assessments, and management reports to support executive decision-making
  • Deliver formal documentation: Project Charter, Business Requirements, Test Scripts, Implementation Plan, and Closure Report
  • Lead and support testing phases (System Integration Testing, UAT)
  • {Champion data integrity, system compliance with privacy/security standards, and continuous improvement cycles}
  • {Design and oversee end-user training and change communication strategies to drive adoption}

Requirements

  • University graduate in Computer Science, HR Technology, or related discipline
  • 10+ years of IT-related experience, with at least 5 years managing enterprise applications or HRIS projects
  • Proven record of managing full system lifecycle from requirements to go-live; experience delivering at least two HRIS or HCM implementations (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle, BIPO, Kingdee, or similar)
  • {Demonstrated understanding of HR and payroll operations in multi-entity setups (Hong Kong, Macau, Mainland China)}
  • PMP certification or equivalent preferred; Agile/Scrum familiarity a plus
  • {Hands-on knowledge of HR analytics, system integration, and data governance frameworks highly advantageous}
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Candidates with strong strategic leadership experience may be considered for Senior Project Manager / Project Lead designation
