Workshop Description
An agile coach plays a pivotal role in the transformation of an organization’s approach to project management by embodying and imparting the values and principles that underpin agile methodologies. Their influence is crucial in guiding and supporting teams as they strive to implement and enhance agile practices and frameworks, adapting to the specific needs and goals of the organization.
Join us for an interactive and engaging 2-hour workshop designed to dive deep into the world of agile coaching. Whether you are an aspiring agile coach, a project manager, or a team member looking to understand this dynamic role, this workshop will offer valuable insights.
Topics to be covered include:
• What is an agile coach? A detailed exploration of the responsibilities, mindset, and essential skills that define an agile coach.
• Areas of Agile Coaching: Discover the various facets of coaching within the agile framework, ranging from team facilitation to organizational development.
• Focus Areas of an Agile Coach: Learn about the specific areas where an agile coach’s expertise can make a significant impact, including process improvements, team collaboration, and strategic alignment.
• Agile Coaching Competency Framework: Understand the framework that outlines the competencies an agile coach must cultivate, reflecting a blend of agile knowledge, professional coaching abilities, and leadership qualities.
• How to Succeed as an Agile Coach: Practical tips and strategies to thrive in this role, regardless of the unique challenges posed by different organizational contexts.
Speaker
Sandip has around 20 years of extensive industry experience, including coaching, training and mentoring leaders and teams in a variety of sectors including banking and financial services, energy, product development and telecommunications.
He has been successfully leading digital and agile transformations in companies in the US, Europe and Australia.
Sandip’s rich hands-on experience with various classic agile methodologies and authority over frameworks such as Scaled Agile (SAFe), Kanban, Scrum, Lean StartUp as well as the PMI Disciplined Agile Toolkit makes him the go-to change leader.
