PMI Hong Kong Chapter is proud to introduce Ir. Dr. Lotto Lai as our guest speaker to share with us the captioned topic. Dr. Lai is Manager, Quality System in Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation.

About the Topic:
Leakage of sensitive information may not always be caused by an information system’s technical vulnerabilities but may often also come about due to the lack of awareness of the importance of information security. A systematic approach in addressing this through the integrated implementation of an Information Security Management System (ISMS – ISO 27001) as well as Quality Management System (QMS – ISO 9001) is proposed.
A case study on how this approach at Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) was implemented will be shared. This will take into consideration the management and mitigation of information security risks, incorporation of quality management best practices, underpinned by sound project execution and management.
