PMI Hong Kong Chapter is proud to introduce Mr. Peter K. Fung as our guest speaker to share with us the captioned topic. Mr. Fung is the Chairman of Hong Kong Society for Quality and the co-founder of a management consultant company for Quality Management.

About the Topic:
Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) is a new development in Six Sigma which brings together the already widely accepted Quality Management philosophies of Six Sigma and a strong emphasis on a customer-oriented approach, systematic planning and robust performance. Benefits for organisations that have deployed DFSS can be significant with respect to return on investment, greater delivery assurance and improved products & services that customers want and are willing to pay for.
This seminar will explore when it may be better to replace, rather than repair existing products and services. This will then elaborate and share lessons learned on the implementation approach from multiple perspectives such as organisational capability, customer feedback, business & technology risks, design considerations, the use of appropriate methods and tools, the investment that may be required to enable staff with the required level of knowledge & experience to ensure successful delivery.
